BACK TO PORTFOLIOI joined the project when the overall creative direction was established, presenting challenges and opportunities for creative expression. I was responsible for designing each page of the book, which included typesetting all the text and juxtaposing them with crafted visual elements. All with printing in mind. This required meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the layout was both visually appealing and easy to read.
I crafted all the visual elements, except for the cover and the two main characters. Collaborating with a senior graphic designer at Insight Studios, I contributed to the creative evolution of these elements, ensuring they seamlessly transitioned from chapter to chapter.
In addition to the book, I also designed the website for Going Steady. Using Adobe XD, I created a user-friendly and visually cohesive online presence. I animated the characters previously drawn for the book, adding movement and life. Working alongside another web designer, we implemented these designs to bring the online vision of Going Steady to life.
